Windows Applications Run in Android. What if Windows apps run in your tablet or Android smartphones? It sounds so interesting. That’s what Windows Wine emulator developer team is working on.
Quoted from ZDNet, Winde Alexandre Julliard, one of the first developers, showed the result of the project in Fosdem open-source conference on February 2nd 2013. He ran Wine in Android environment emulation.
In separated demonstration in Fosdem, it was shown that Wine also could be run in ARM-based hardware. Nowadays, most Android operating system runs in ARM-based hardware.
By using Wine, Windows apps can run in UNIX-based operating system, directly from desktop or terminal. The developer claimed that Wine was getting through the performance limit and memory, not like other simulations, such as virtual machine.
